POURING rain made the smell of freshly cooked bread at the Southside Festival even more tempting.

The breadmaking workshop, involving bread recipes from around the globe, was one of the many activities at Cringila Community Park.

The festival celebrates Cringila's and Warrawong's multicultural flavour.

Activities included belly dancing demonstrations, dancing groups and Aboriginal dreamtime stories.
